20MVA Cast Resin
Transformer with On-load Tap Changer - Two of these transformers are
installed in a major Sydney facility. Each transformer has a capacity of
20MVA, is rated at 33000/11000 Volts and is fitted with on-load tap
changers to provide constant 11000V to the building. The building is
fitted with a further 53 TMC Cast Resin Distribution transformers rated
between 500kVA and 2500kVA to provide low voltage at the load centres. |

10MVA Cast Resin Transformer
with On-load Tap Changer
Two of these transformers are installed in a major Shanghai facility.
Each transformer has a capacity of 10MVA, is rated at 35000/10000 Volts
and is fitted with on-load tap changers to provide constant 10000V to the
building. The building is fitted with a further 9 TMC Cast Resin
Distribution transformers rated at 2400kVA to provide low voltage at the
load centres.

1500kVA Distribution Transformer in IP20 Enclosure
The 1500kVA 11000/433V Cast Resin Distribution Transformer shown is
typical of TMC's range of transformers supplied in large numbers to
utilities in the United Arab Emirates. The construction features a slim
line design with terminal boxes located on the narrow ends. |

33kV Outdoor Cast Resin Transformer
This photo shows a detail of a 2000kVA 33000/3300V outdoor cast resin
transformer. Two of which were purchased by an Australian power utility
for outdoor use in an environment where the risk of oil contamination was
unacceptable. By using cast resin transformers, the utility reduces
insurance premium costs by totally eliminating the risk of environmental
oil contamination and achieves the further benefit of reduced fire risk. |

TMC Cast Resin
Transformers Power this P+H MinePro Shovel
Built into this impressive P+H MinePro Australia Mining Shovel are two TMC
Cast Resin Transformers. The power to the motors is supplied by one
2500kVA 11000-6600 / 600-600V Dy1y1 IP43 Cast Resin Rectifier
Transformer. The auxiliary power requirements are supplied from one
325kVA transformer with multiple secondary windings. The transformers are
designed to withstand the arduous mechanical shocks and vibrations
experienced by the shovel. |

Outdoor Cast Resin
Transformers at a major Australia Mine
27 TMC Cast Resin Transformers are installed at this Australian mine. The
transformers range from 1000kVA to 3500kVA and are installed throughout
the processing plant close to the loads. A further 15 low voltage 200kVA
and 400kVA transformers are installed for lighting and other auxiliary
power requirements. By using Cast Resin Transformers, the mine reduces
the risk of fire and eliminates possible environmental contamination by
transformer oil spills. |

11kV Outdoor Current Limiting Cast Resin Reactors
The photo shows a three phase set of 6.50mH 11kV 650A reactors installed
at a modern power generation plant. The reactors limit the potential fault
current between the generator and grid to a safe level. The reactors are
stacked to present a small footprint. |

33kV Outdoor Cast Resin Rectifier Transformer in Stainless Steel
Enclosure
This stainless steel outdoor enclosure houses a 2700kVA 33000 / 600-600V
Cast Resin Rectifier Transformer. Six similar units are installed along a
major rail route in New South Wales. The stainless steel enclosure was
chosen to meet the corosion requirements of the coastal environment into
which the transformers are installed. |

X-Ray Transformer Produced by TMC
Copy of an article appearing in the Melbourne "Argus" showing a 125kVp
X-Ray Transformer undergoing testing prior to export. TMC has
manufactured high voltage X-Ray transformers up to 500kVp. |

1975 TMC Transformer-Rectifier With Electronic Control
This photo shows a 50kV 500mA Oil Cooled Transformer-Rectifier with
thyristor control. TMC manufactured 75 such units for use at the Allied
Eneabba mineral sands project near Geraldton Western Australia. |

Indoor Cast Resin Transformer Installation
TMC Cast Resin Distribution and Power transformers are ideal for indoor
installation. The photo shows a typical installation. LV busway can be
seen connected directly to the transformer. The TMC transformer is fitted
with internal busway connection links. The installation contractor simply
attaches the busway end to the enclosure flange (deisgned to match) and
then attached the pre-measured and supplied internal flexible links. By
using Cast Resin Transformers, the city building reduces the risk of fire
and eliminates possible environmental contamination by transformer oil
spills. |
