TMC Tdas is a computer software package which runs on the HP9000 series workstations.  It has been designed and written by the TMC Research and Development department, to solve transformer design equations for the optimum electromagnetic and economic design.  By integrating TMC Tdas with the I-DEAS Master Modeler^TM CAD software, factory ready drawings can be produced automatically.

TMC Tdas accepts design input from the user via a straight forward interface and continually updates the entire design based on those inputs.  The visual feedback enables the user to directly control the critical design parameters such as temperature, impedance, losses and cost.

I-DEAS Master Modeler^TM is a product of Structural Dynamics Corporation USA.
TMC is a recognised I-DEAS Master Series Solution Vendor.
 

The TMC Tdas transformer parts library, supplied with TMC Tdas Mechanical Designer, includes a complete set of parametric models - fully tested and integrated with TMC Tdas for seamless model updates and drawing production.  TMC Tdas is used for all transformer designs within the TMC engineering department and routinely at sites in China, Malaysia and Italy.
